2025 JIKS Speaking Competition: A Celebration of Confidence and Creativity!

The energy was undeniable at this year’s JIKS Speaking Competition, where students from Grades 4, 5, and 6 stepped into the spotlight and delivered performances that wowed audiences and judges alike. With themes ranging from the power of Artificial Intelligence to the magic of classic fairytales, history-making moments, global sports, and the deep cultural influence of Korea, students showcased not only their speaking skills but also their knowledge, imagination, and passion.
 

This year's event featured three exciting categories: Presentations, Storytelling, and News Broadcasting. Each format gave students a unique way to express their ideas, challenge themselves, and build confidence in front of an audience. From captivating tales with unexpected twists to hard-hitting broadcasts and engaging personal insights, the creativity on display was second to none.

The competition served as more than just a speaking challenge — it became a platform for students to dive into topics they cared about and explore them with voice, emotion, and originality. The level of preparation and professionalism was clear, with every speaker delivering with heart and determination.

Our judges were thoroughly impressed by the poise, clarity, and authenticity of each performance. Whether a student was tackling the future of AI, retelling a beloved fairytale, or reporting on a historical event, their voices carried power and purpose.

Events like this remind us how important it is to nurture young speakers and give them opportunities to shine. We’re incredibly proud of all our participants, and even more excited about where their voices will take them next.
